For three decades, Mr. Berger has successfully led international businesses during periods of significant expansion and profitability as well as others firms through times of crisis which required specific turnaround and workout experience. As the CEO of public and private firms, Mr. Berger was directly responsible for completing over 20 substantial acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. With over 25 years of experience working in and with China, Mr. Berger brings to Asia Plus Capital a strong understanding of the financial, commercial and cultural challenges of merging western and Chinese business interests.
Prior to joining Asia Plus Capital, Mr. Berger was a Senior Advisor to ChinaVest, the Managing Director of the Ventana Group LLC, President of Ironside Associates, CEO and President of Valley Media (WMIX) and President/COO of the KB division of ConAgra Foods (CAG). Mr. Berger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University.
